Resources for Employers

Offering a valuable benefit to your employees

“When you invest in your people, you invest in your organization's success.” Great Place to Work Institute

In the 2006 Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” survey conducted by Great Place to Work Institute, it was found that of the Top 100 companies deemed the best to work for, 33% offer company-sponsored childcare. In that survey, childcare is named as one of the “best benefits” for employees when they consider which companies are the best to work for.

A significant number of other studies have also examined the value that employer-sponsored childcare contributed to the success of a business. The findings pointed to better recruitment effectiveness, higher productivity, morale and staff retention, lower absenteeism and stronger company loyalty. Offering childcare also places companies in a position to be considered an “employer of choice.”

A 2008 survey conducted by our leading childcare company in the US, CCLC (Children’s Creative Learning Centers), clearly showed how much working parents value employer-sponsored childcare benefits.
